FSCP73ZGT.cmyk (2).jpg Over the past 20 years, FSC® has earned a reputation as the most rigorous, credible forest certification system. FSC is the only forest certification system governed by an open membership (General Assembly) where interests are equally balanced by economic, social and environmental chambers.

• Certifiers assess forest management using the FSC standards. Certifiers are independent of FSC and the companies they are auditing. This third party
verification is crucial to the integrity of the FSC system.
• Forest Management certification provides assurance that forests are being managed to the highest environmental and social standards.
• Chain-of-Custody certification provides assurance that products bearing the FSC label directly support responsible forest management.

ECOLOGO_Green (2).jpgUL Environment’s ECOLOGO® Program helps build and strengthen trust in sustainable products. Certification to one of UL’s rigorous, multi-attribute,lifecycle-based standards indicates that a product has undergone third-party auditing and verification to stringent, science-based performance criteria, making it a more sustainable choice.
UL certifies commercial and household toilet and facial tissue, napkins, and hand and kitchen towel products under its Sanitary Paper Standards for an overall reduced environmental impact.
These standards address recycled content and chlorine-free bleaching processes.
Standard criteria also includes “downstream” effects such as effluent content, air emissions, solid waste reduction, and energy consumption.
The holistic approach incorporated in this certification matches our philosophy of environmental stewardship.

Green Seal

Green Seal_4c.jpgGreen Seal is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to safeguarding the environment and transforming the marketplace by promoting the manufacture, purchase, and use of environmentally responsible products and services.

It establishes environmental, health, and social requirements for products such as bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, napkins, and placemats for both institutional and retail markets.
The standard addresses the life cycle issues for sanitary paper products. The life-cycle approach is used to ensure that all significant environmental impacts are considered in the development of a standard, from raw materials extraction through manufacturing to use and disposal.
